    Prince Shedrack Akolokwu studied law at the University of Port Harcourt.  He did his Masters Degree in Political & Administrative Studies specializing in Development Studies and International Relations.  He is presently undergoing his Doctorate Degree Programme at the University of Port Harcourt in Development Studies.

    A lawyer, Diplomat and seasoned Administrator, who studied Law at the University of Nigeria Nsukka between 1965 and 1967.  In 1972, he obtained another Bachelors Degree in Political Science from the Rutgers State University of New Jersey in the United States of America.

    In 1973, he obtained his Masters Degree in International Affairs (MIA) from the Columbia University, New York, USA.  In 1980, he obtained a Diploma in Management Services from the Administrative College of Nigeria Badagry.  In 1987, he obtained yet another Degree in Law from the Buckingham University, England.

    He was a Desk Officer on Attachment Programme at the United Nations Headquarters (UN), New York between 1974 and 1975.  Between 1975 and 1976, he was posted to the Ministry of External Affairs as a Training Officer (Administration) a position that he held between 1976 and 1977.  He was the Senior First Secretary (Education) at the Nigerian Embassy in the United States of America (USA) between 1977 to 1980.  He moved to the Ministry of External of External Affairs Headquarters as the Counselor (Protocol) / Head of the Welfare Division and served in that capacity between 1980 to 1983.  He was seconded to the State House, Ribadu Road as the Assistant Chief of State Protocol between 1983 and 1984.  In 1995, he was the General Manager, Special Duties at the Nigerian Ports Plc.

    In 1999, he was appointed a Member of the Administrative Panel on Investigation of Nigeria Airways.  Also in 2001, he was appointed as a Member of the Interim Management Committee on Financial Crimes which mid-wifed the establishment of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

    He is a Member of Thisday Newspaper Editorial Board.  He is on the Board of the Nigeria Institute of International Affairs (NIIA) and the Centre for Advance Social Studies (CASS) Port Harcourt.

    Mr. Oboh Cornelius is an alumnus of the Pan African University (The Lagos Business School) as well as University of Lagos.  Mr. Oboh obtained both his Bachelors’ and Masters Degrees in Economics between 1979 - 1982, and 1990 – 1991 respectively from the University of Lagos.

    Mr. Oboh started his Investment Banking career with Corporate Trust Limited in 1986.  Over the years he worked in several capacities with the then International Merchant Bank Plc (IMB), FCMB and other Banks before joining BGL Plc in August 2000.

    Mr. Oboh is presently a Director with BGL Securities Ltd, a company that he joined in August 2000 as the Head of Corporate Finance.  He rose through the ranks to become Senior Vice President / Head, Abuja and Northern States Operations; Technical Adviser to the GMD / CEO, Managing Director of BGL Securities Ltd, a subsidiary of BGL Ltd.  Currently, he is      the Chief Executive Officer of Lexcap Partners Ltd, the Group Chief Marketing Officer of BGL Ltd.  He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria.

    Alhaji Gambo Lawan is a Fellow of the Institute of Industrialists and Corporate Administration and a Member of the Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria.  He is also an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).

    Through External Examination Courses and several Local and International Management Courses, he qualified as a Public Administrator; Public Finance Administrator and Developmental Politician.

    He is the Chairman, Board of Directors of Daily Independent Group of Newspapers, some Government Agencies and Establishments.

    Prof. Ralph A. Akinfeleye is the Chair and Head, Department of Mass Communication, University of Lagos, Nigeria.  A graduate of the World First School of Journalism at the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri, USA.  Prof. Akinfeleye is a communication specialist and consultant to UNFPA, UNESCO, UNIFEM, WHO, UNICEF, UNDP to mention a few.  He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (fnge), Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (fnipr), and Chairman, Management Board, Unilag Radio – 103.1FM – the first University Radio Station in Nigeria. 

    Prof. Akinfeleye led the Department of Mass Communication, University of Lagos to attain the UNESCO rating as one of the ten Centres of Excellence in Media Training in Africa, and the only one in Nigeria, as well as the World Bank’s STEP-B Centre of Excellence in Multimedia and Cinematography at the University of Lagos, Department of Mass Communication.  He is the President of the Association of Journalism and Mass Communication Teachers (NAJMAT); he is a Member of the following media associations – Association of Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC), African Council on Communication Education (ACCE), Data for Development (DFD), Society for International Development (SID), the Commonwealth Association for Education and Journalism and Mass Communication (CAEJMC), Nigeria Guild of Editors (NGE), Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), and many others.

    Prof. Akinfeleye coordinated the $10 million (Ten Million US Dollars) Bloomberg Media Initiative Africa, a partnership that brought the Bloomberg Brand to the Centre of Excellence in Multimedia and Cinematography at the Department of Mass Communication, University of Lagos, as well as five other African Universities.
