Raymond Dokpesi, Jnr had his Masters Degree from the University of Westminster, London in Public Relations & Public Communications in 2006.

He started his working career with DAAR Communications Ltd now Plc in 2001 as a Marketing Officer. Between 2002 and 2004, he was a Marketing Executive. In 2004, he established a specialized Marketing and Public Relations Consultancy firm – Virgin & Virgo Solutions Limited which specialized in Direct-to-Home Cable TV services marketing and direct response television (infomercials) joint venture packaging for the emerging Cable TV market in the country,

Upon obtaining his Masters Degree, he returned to the country and joined DAAR Communications Limited as a News Reporter/Broadcast Journalist between 2006 and 2007. In 2008, he was the pioneer Sports Rights & Content Acquisition Manager with the responsibility of sourcing and acquiring international sporting rights for Africa Independent Television (AIT), RayPower FM and the DHTV/Daarsat platform and marketing same to the organization’s sporting partners in Nigeria, Africa, and the International markets.

He held several other positions – Chief Marketing Officer, Director – Marketing, Director – Special Projects, Executive Director – Special Projects, and Managing Director – DAAR Educational Service (DES).

Raymond Dokpesi Jnr; a seasoned broadcast Administrator with vast experience in Marketing, Journalism, Sports Rights Acquisition, Pay TV Content Aggregation, Marketing Concept Development, Project Conceptualization was appointed the Chairman of DAAR Communications Plc by the Board in November 2014 and the Shareholders of the company at the 5th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Nov 28, 2014, upon the voluntary retirement of the Founder and erstwhile Chairman.

He has attended several Broadcast Management, Marketing, and Sports Rights Acquisition Conferences, Exhibitions, and Workshops most especially in the USA, Europe and the United Kingdom.

He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, UK.
